Genesis 1–11 records God’s 6-day creation, how Satan and sin corrupted God’s creation, and the events that followed that shaped the earth and human history in the past 6,000 years. The secular world rejects God’s account and His work by claiming a very different history (e.g., the universe was created by a big bang, the Earth is very old, humans evolved from apes, and a local flood limited to Mesopotamia). These claims with ‘scientific evidence’ challenge the foundation of the gospel and the reliability of the Bible.
The four speakers (with expertise in science, theology and church history) will present:

How the secular claims have impacted the society and church, the different theological views on Genesis 1-2 that have emerged together with their issues and consequences.

How science (experimental) does not contradict the Bible, the problems with the theories and evidence for big bang, evolution and an old Earth, and evidence that supports the biblical account of creation and Noah’s global flood.

Theological reasons and biblical support to read and defend Genesis 1-11 as literal history, and the importance of equipping churches and leaders to be knowledgeable in this area for evangelism and discipleship.
There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the presentations.

has no death of any kind.
Evolution teaches that the pre-sin world
has animal predation, sickness and death.
There may even be human death.
